Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship – Lower Grade
Directorate of Industries invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up 145 posts of INDUSTRIES INSPECTOR (Lower Grade) / Extension Officer (Industries)’ Group-C employees in the Directorate of Industries. The Industries Inspectors (LG/Extension Officer (Industries) are transferable in the State of Maharashtra. Further details are given below :
Name of the Post : Industries Inspector / Extension Officer
No. of Posts : 145 Posts (UR – 65 ; OBC – 26 ; SC – 10 ; ST – 21 ; DT/A – 03 ; NT/B – 04 ; SBC – 02 ; NT/C – 11 ; NT/D – 03)
Pay Scale : Rs.9300 – 34800/- + GP Rs.4200/-
Qualification : Candidate must possess a degree in science or a diploma in chemical technology or mechanical or electrical or chemical engineering or electronic or textile or leather or automobile, metallurgy, telecommunication or radio Engineering of an university / institute or any other qualification equivalent thereto, as recognized by Government.
Age Limit : 18 – 33 years as on 1st July 2013 (Relaxation as per Government Rules)
Selection process : There shall be a written examination for 200 marks and interview for 20 marks and 05 marks for preference to degree holders in engineering and post graduation in science.
Application fee ; Rs.250/- for Open Category and Rs.150/- for Reserved Categories (NO fee for EXSM) – DD drawn on any nationalized bank in the name of Development Commissioner (Industries), Directorate of Industries, Maharashtra State, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format. The application complete in all respects with necessary enclosures should be to the respective District Industries Centers according to the place of their residence as per the postal address mentioned in their application forms. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of the INDUSTRIES INSPECTOR (LOWER GRADE)/ EXTENSION OFF’ICER (INDUSTRIES), Group-C”
