• Microbial analysis of food products, drinking water/mineral water, pharmaceutical products
• Environment monitoring of food processing area to access the bacterial load
• Developed lab procedures & tests to identify new micro-organisms
• Maintaining microbial cultures in passages periodically as per the stipulated scheme
• Performing Disinfectant Efficacy Test for different types of disinfectants used in the laboratory

• Testing according to BAMS & IS standards
• Performed microscopic examination of micro-organisms to determine their morphological and physiological characteristic

• Discarding of Media and Cultures and conduct sterilization of materials by Autoclaving and operating Dry Heat Sterilizer (DHS).
• Preparation of specific Culture Media required for different tests.
• Maintaining Meticulous Record and Documents of All Operating Procedure.
Sample Inward register, Log book of equipments, Calibration records, Analytical reports & Media Receipt, Usage, Consumption & Destruction Records.
• Maintaining records for Fumigation in Microbiological area
• Carry out work distribution for the Supervisor & trainee – Microbiology on a daily/ weekly basis. Review progress against plan on a weekly basis and recast plan if required, based on actual production and priorities
• Microbial Analysis of potable Water, Purified Water
• Testing of all water samples likes Packaged drinking water &
Natural mineral water
